Description: Infrequently found in open woodlands in the eastern part of our region. Its inflorescense resembles Tumble windmillgrass but its leaves are conspicuously shorter and broader and appear to be 2-ranked. The lower leaves also mature quickly and die. Yhis is not a desirable grass for wildlife and cattle. |
