Description: Since introduced into the U.S. from southwest Asia, it has become widely cultivated for livestock forage and feed. Has escaped in some areas and occurs along roadsides and in ungrazed pastures. Fruit is in one to two coils. Highly preferred by white-tailed deer in fall, winter and spring. |
