Description: A hardy medium-sized tree or large shrub adapted to dry sites. Used extensively for shade and shelterbelts in western Oklahoma and Texas, and can be found throughout much of the U.S. Less adapted to moist climates. The fruit (samara) is rounded and hairless. May escape cultivation.
